Dawley Brook Primary School has an existing ethos of inclusion for all learners. We have clarified our approach to learning and behaviour and distilled this down into our School motto:

These 4 words underpin everything we stand for as a community. All children know, understand and live by these words which we display on our logo.

The words form our expectations for everyone in school.  They are used to develop self-regulation of behaviour choices both during learning and social time. Children making choices during these times that do not support these words are supported to think and adapt their choices to ‘put this right’. This is the underpinning ethos of Oak Tree SEND base at Dawley Brook Primary School.
